Sapienza merchandising has been launched

Sapienza University offers a wide range of gadgets. The catalogue includes products designed by students for students

Sapienza merchandising project, named merchandesign, realised by the LSD laboratory (Factory laboratory Sapienza design) with the collaboration of Sapienza administration, is aimed to enhance the University’s image by promoting its brand. Students, teachers, internal personnel and visitors can buy sweatshirts, caps, pencils, pocket diaries and also technological objects, such as pen drives and laser pens, or more traditional items such as lunch containers re-interpreted by the students attending the Industrial design degree courses at Sapienza. The distribution will be carried out in the mobile sales point located behind the Rectorate building inside the campus. During the next months other sales points will be operative in the faculties spread through the territory and at the Economato (service administration), while a site for collections and on-line purchases will be operational.
The project, coordinated by the Rector’s delegate for merchandising Antonio Paris, is willing to interpret the identity of the largest University in Europe, enhancing the feeling of being part of a group as well as the name, the values, the history and the tradition of the University. The merchandising, in addition, aims at promoting the alumni’s loyalty and the fund raising, assigning the incomes to initiatives for the benefit of students.
